Help America’s VetDogs make a difference in the lives of veterans and first responders by participating in the 10th America’s VetDogs 5K Run & Dog Walk, now part of the Suffolk County Veteran Run Series!

The event will be held on September 28, 2024, in our hometown of Smithtown, NY.  Dogs are welcome to join you on your run/walk too!  America’s VetDogs is also hosting a virtual run/walk for those that live far away and cannot attend.  Join us in wearing the colors of our nation – red, white, and blue – at the AVD Run and Dog Walk, as we honor and support our veterans.  Let’s show our unwavering gratitude and patriotism for those who have selflessly served our country.

Our Mission at America’s VetDogs is to help those who have served our country honorably live with dignity and independence. The service dog programs of America’s VetDogs® were created to provide enhanced mobility and renewed independence to United States veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with disabilities, allowing them to once again live with pride and self-reliance.  Not only does a service dog provide support with daily activities, it provides the motivation to tackle every day challenges.
