THE SUFFOLK COUNTY VETERANS RUN SERIES CHALLENGE COINS
The Veterans Run Series is participation-based and will serve to publicize 7 veteran runs in the hopes of increasing turnout for all associated events. The goal is to make each participating run as successful as it possibly can be, thereby making the biggest positive impact for our local veterans.
The Series will serve to recognize runners for their participation and commitment to veterans, not for their speed. Those who run in walk/run/volunteer in 6 out of 7 events earn a Challenge Coin and 4 out of 7 earn a SCVRS Medal.
All awards will be presented to qualifying participants during a special ceremony in November or December of this year, Date TBD.
