In Jordan’s Honor, Ltd., a charitable, 501 c (3) organization established by
Jordan’s Mother to honor Fallen Marine LCpl Jordan C. Haerter, from Sag
Harbor, NY.

Jordan is the recipient of the Navy Cross for Extraordinary Heroism, our nation’s second-highest award for Valor in Combat. This was awarded posthumously for the heroic actions of Jordan alongside fellow Marine, Cpl Jonathan T. Yale on 22 April 2008.

The memorial charitable organization, In Jordan’s Honor, Ltd., is the recipient of the proceeds raised through Jordan’s Run Veterans’ Memorial 5K Run/Walk.

We honor and celebrate local high school graduates who choose to serve their country through the Military or Law Enforcement, as Jordan Haerter would have done. Each qualifying student receives a $1000.00 LCpl Jordan Haerter Honor, Courage, Commitment award.

With your continued support, Jordan’s Run proceeds provide In Jordan’s Honor, Ltd., the ability to donate to Tunnel to Towers, Carry the Load, The National Museum for the Marine Corps, Fisher House, The Patriot Guard Riders, and Honor Flight Long Island. We also continue to send socks and Girl Scout cookies to Active-Duty Marines and support our troops wherever we see the need.

We will always support our troops, our local veterans, and like-minded Veteran organizations.
