Suffolk County Veterans Run Series

The Veterans Run Series is participation-based and will serve to publicize 7 veteran runs in the hopes of increasing turnout for all associated events. The goal is to make each participating race as successful as it possibly can be, thereby making the biggest positive impact for our local veterans.

The Series will serve to recognize runners for their participation and commitment to veterans, not for their speed. Those who run in six out of seven races in the Series will receive a 2018 SCVRS Challenge Coin. Those who run in four out of the seven races, will receive a 2018 SCVRS Medal.

All awards will be presented to qualifying participants in the Spring of 2018 at a special ceremony which will include their family and members of each race committee.

We thank you for being an active participant in our joint mission to assist, honor, and recognize our United States veterans and we look forward to seeing you at a race this year!
